The Lady Vol rowing team picked up two golds along with both a silver and bronze medals in the Head of the Hooch Regatta in November 2006 in one of the largest rowing events in the southeastern United States that saw Tennessee competing against many of its rivals in the NCAA South Region.
Soccer
Lady Vol senior soccer team co-captains Ali Christoph and Jenny Jeffers earned Women's College Scholar All-America Team accolades from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) and adidas.

Softball
The U.S. Pan Am Qualifying squad and Lady Vol freshman softball player Tiffany Huff dominated the competition in Caguas, Puerto Rico by a 113-2 count over 10 contests to pick up the 2006 Pan American Championship.

Swimming and Diving
Former Lady Vol Jacque Fessel swam an Olympic Trial qualifying time in the 100m backstroke at the U.S. Open Championship in West Lafayette, Ind, November 2006. Fessel was one of the most successful swimmers in Lady Vol history and sported the Orange and White from 2002-06.
The UT Vols men's swimming and diving team finished second with 818 points at the Princeton Invitational at the DeNunzio Pool in Princeton, N.J.
Tennis
Following a stellar fall campaign, Lady Vol senior Blakeley Griffith has been ranked No. 1 in the Southeast Region, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced in December 2006.
The Tennessee VOLS men's tennis team had three players ranked in singles and two doubles teams ranked in the Southeast Region tennis rankings in December 2006.

Baseball
The Tennessee Smokies are a member of the Southern League of Professional Baseball and the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues. The Smokies are the Class AA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays.
Canoeing
The Knoxville whitewater canoe and kayak club, Chota Canoe Club, offers an annual training School for new and experienced paddlers, clinics, special trips and events and weekly river trips throughout the year. The funds raised from club activities support the conservation of natural resources.
Fencing
The University of Tennessee Fencing Club is open to those who are interested. No experience is necessary. Teaches the classical style of foil, and expands to Epee and Sabre.
Ice Hockey

Rowing
The Knoxville Rowing Association seeks to promote the sport of rowing through instruction and equipment use to area youth and adults, and by hosting nationally-recognized rowing competitions.

The Knoxville Adult Soccer League is a league comprised of three divisions being the competitive, open, and recreational divisions. They play spring, summer, and fall seasons.
Knoxville Metro Soccer League (KMSL) is an outdoor soccer league, currently consisting of 21 Adult teams, and 5 Youth teams.
